(March 9, 2026, Midland/Odessa, TX) United States Magistrate Judge Derek Gilliland today denied Motions to Reconsider filed by Amarillo National Bank, Vantage Bank, Pinnacle Bank, and Broadway Bancshares, which argued that cases against them should be thrown out based on a similar but different case against another defendant in another state. The Court found that such does not affect that the plaintiff plead a plausible infringement claim in these cases in this district, and Denied the Motion.
